Tracing the Transatlantic.

A look back at the private-jet journey that retraced Pan Am’s original transatlantic route — New York to Ireland, June 2025.

The Journey

Heritage, Back in Flight.

Over twelve nights in June 2025, fifty travelers retraced Pan Am’s original transatlantic route aboard the Yankee Clipper, a privately chartered Boeing 757 in full Pan Am livery. From a private send-off at JFK to a homecoming in Foynes, the journey brought the golden age of travel back to the skies. Every seat was spoken for.

“Since 1927, Pan Am has left an indelible mark on the world… literally bringing the world closer together, one flight at a time. It is exciting to embark on this journey, tracing both the original Pan Am Southern and Northern Transatlantic routes.”

Craig Carter · CEO, Pan American World Airways
